ABOUT DARTMOUTH BADMINTON
Dartmouth Badminton is an all-ages badminton club located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for players of all skill levels to enjoy the sport of badminton, so whether you're looking to hone your skills or you're just learning the basics, we've got a little something for everyone!
PROGRAMS
We offer a variety of sessions for both casual and competitive badminton players of all ages. Our current fall session is full, but you can join our Facebook Group Dartmouth Badminton to snag yourself a drop-in spot.

OPEN SESSION
Our Open Session is for all ages and all competitive levels. Our full-time spots are currently full, but message us on Facebook to inquire about our drop-in availability!
When: Saturdays, from 12:30pm-2:30pm

JUNIOR CLUB | 2025-2026 SEASON
Serve up some fun with our Junior Club! Open to players in grades 6-12, we welcome all skill levels.
For the 2025 fall season we're offering two separate sessions per week, though players can choose to sign up for both if they want more court time.
Wednesday Session *FULL*
When: Wednesdays, from 6pm-8pm
Where: Eastern Passage Education Centre,

Length: 14 weeks, starting Sept 24th 2025
Sunday Session *FULL*
When: Sundays, from 12pm-2pm
Where: École secondaire Mosaïque,
361 John Savage Ave, Dartmouth, NS B3B 0J3
Length: TBD, started Sept 28 2025
To register for either of the Junior Club sessions you must be a member of the Dartmouth Badminton Club.
The membership fee costs $30 annually and is in addition to any session fees.
The membership includes a DBC t-shirt, discounts on stringing services as well as badminton gear, and a membership to Badminton Nova Scotia.
Both of our fall sessions are currently full but we encourage you to join our waitlist!

We sell feather shuttles for $32 per tube (12 ct)
Racket Stringing
We offer racket stringing for members for $25 (includes strings)
MEET OUR TEAM
Badminton has been a part of Blake's life for over two decades. Originally from the Annapolis Valley where he was a member of the Northeast Kings Badminton Club, he won many provincial and Atlantic titles as a junior player. Now living in Dartmouth, Blake started the Dartmouth Badminton Club with the goal of growing the sport in the community.

Logan started playing badminton at age 11 and helped his team capture six straight provincial titles. Since then, Logan has amassed a great deal of knowledge in physical fitness and uses that knowledge to improve his own power on the court. He now resides in Dartmouth and is an integral part in making the Dartmouth Badminton Club possible.
